sleep walk/ talk

My parents had to put a chair against the front door.. afetr finding me on the front or in the yard shaking out clothes.. I swear there was a rat in those pants...LOL

ha! I must have passed it on to my dd as well.

One of my sisters who worked at a restaurant and got home at late hours would find me in unusual places doing unusual things... like using a Fisher Price preschool phone (the one with eyes and wheels) calling home in the middle of the stairs. She always brought me to the bathroom and then put me back to bed and that seemed to do the trick. I think I was afraid of the dark and to go down stairs to use the bathroom alone. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well, as far as my girls go this has been a week of misery. Zoe 8, woke up midnight on tues. with nearly a 104* temp. This morning she's at 102* but went to bed at 99*. Ava 3, started her fever on wed. and last night went to bed at 100.5* and woke up at 103*. And they are miserable and we're sleeping together now and so I'm sandwiched between 2 really hot bodies...so I stick my feet out of the covers to try to cool down.

The dr. said it sounded like the flu...looking at 5-7 days...not to bring them in unless they are really weak and lethargic, wheezing, or can't swallow since sometimes this can turn into secondary infections.

I've just never had my girls get temps as high as this and last this long. This mama is beat.
