Sleeping in nextboxes

My chickens who are only eight weeks old are starting to sleep in the nestboxes. I heard that this is not good when they start laying because they poop on the eggs. Anytips to nip this bad habit??

Block them out of the nestboxes until they start using the roosts. Also the roosts should be positioned higher than the nestboxes. It's most likely a 'kid' thing that they will outgrow.

my pullets get in next boxes during day but sleep on roost at night my rooster sleeps on board that seperates nest boxes.pullets are about 10 weeks old rooster is about 6 weeks old put your roost higher
