Slender black hen looks Leghorn, any idea the actual breed?

White leghorns are genetically "dominant white", so the chicks will be almost all white, with a few colored feathers. Those colored feathers will likely be barred, but not as light as the feathers on your roo. The eggs might be tinted brown, but could be very white as the leghorns also have a lot of shell color inhibiting genes.

I'm pretty sure they will be great layers, and most characteristics will be between their parent's traits.

Thank you dheltzel and Mike OShay. Now all I have to do is keep the varmints away!

I also have 14 White Leghorn pullets I took pity on (pecking each other in a small tub) and bought after they cut the price in half if I'd take them all! Wondering what a cross between them and this roo would yield, both feather color and shellwise. I've had some college genetics, but all the chicken genetics I'm learning new on here!
Your Sex-Link Rooster over White Leghorn Hen should give you bird that are mostly white with some very light barring called Ghost Barring.

Ghost Barring --
Not my bird, this bird belongs to Rareroo

Thanks for the pic. It's the first time I've seen a picture of this particular cross. Do you know how much tinting the eggs have? Are they white, cream, beige?
