Slight remodel to the run

OK OK it was more than a slight remodel. Its a complete rebuild.

My original run was to short and very difficult to get into. On top of that something was stretching out the poultry wire. I was worried about something getting in.
I priced 8' 4x4 post, sack crete for anchoring, hardware cloth and a few other odds and ends. Then I priced dog kennel fencing. The price difference was only $50. With kennel i did not have to dig post holes. My yard is full of roots from a monster maple.

I so would love to have one of those kennels! I check CraigsList every day, but they sell way to fast and I keep missing them!

It looks great but my one concern would be that a racoon could reach in and do harm to a chicken through the fence, maybe you could attach hardwear cloth around the bottom 3ft? Other than that I'm sure that your chickens thank you, it's so roomy
