Slipped tendon?

Hi has anybody have had a slipped tendon? I f so what are the exact syptoms on a birds leg and has it died?

Do you have one with a slipped tendon? Is the leg sticking out to one side. If so, sounds like spraddle leg and you can treat it if you start treatment early.

No not really. She is holding the lower leg up. She is hopping.

My wyandotte had a slipped tendon but she never learnt to hop. She held her leg all the way in front of her. Bearing in mind she also had a broken ball joint (ball and socket joint in the hip).

In the end after keeping her in for 3 weeks and trying to intergrate her back into the flock and failing we decided to do the humane thing.
