Slipped Tndon

One of 3 month old chicks seems to have a slipped tendon. It is having a hard time walking and looks like it is disjointed at the knee.
I am just double checking to make sure that there is nothing you can really do for this except amputation (which I am not willing to do) or euthanasia?

You can try to splint it after massaging the tendon in place. It seems to happen when they have poor grooves for the tendon to ride in or from a too high protein feed if I remember correctly.

I'd definitely try to splint it & go from there.
