Hi everyone!
This morning I noticed that my OO pullet was kind of in slow motion. Not all excited to be out of the coop like the rest of them. She kind of moseys around, lays down, and keeps to herself. She’s eating and drinking but not foraging like the rest and she’s been hanging out in the coop a lot by herself. Is there something I can do to help her feel better? They’ve been out in the coop for 2 1/2 weeks now with no problems. My “roo” likes to try and hang out with her like he knows something is wrong :( I attached a picture of him laying next to her while she napped.

Do you know if her poop is normal? Do you notice if she is sneezing- any nasal discharge? When you hold her and examine her do you notice or feel any bumps? Does her crop feel normal?

Her poop is normal, not runny but not super solid. They all sneeze from time to time but yes she sneezes a little. No runny discharge though. Her crop is normal and emptied last night. She does eat and drink a little. I noticed that her skin was kind of flakey so I looked for mites and lice and didn’t see anything so I rubbed her down with DE. And applied more DE to the coop. They don’t use they’re dust bath that I made them they usually use the pine shavings in the coop. He vent looks normal I guess, I’m a new chicken mom but she does look pale? But she’s eating and drinking so I’m at a loss. I don’t want to lose a bird

The flakes are probably dander, my Rhodes have that. However, could I ask you to post a closer up photo of her and perhaps one of her skin so we can see how much flaking there is? Also, when you examine her poo, do you notice any little worms in it?
In the meantime, why not see if she'll take any vitamins?

She’s not easy to hold and I don’t even think I could get a picture being that is very little. But I looks for mites and lice and didn’t see any. Do you recommend any vitamins and how to administer them? The poop has no worms in it at all however it’s pretty green but I’m assuming that’s from grass.

One thing I forgot to ask: how is she; is she laying yet? If so, when did she last lay? Can you at least post a picture of the poo? If it's too green, that may not be good. As for vitamins, here's what I use: 1560451417088.jpg
You can mix it up in a gallon of water.

How old is she? Can you get Poultry NutriDrench? You can give 2 ml per day orally, or use the electrolytes and vitamins in the water recommended by RIR5. Offer some chopped scrambled eggs, and make a watery wet mash of her chicken feed to get more fluids into her.

The things to look for would be a crop disorder, coccidiosis, or a reproductive problem if she is of laying age. If she is sneezing more than an occasional sneeze, a respiratory infection, such as infectious bronchitis or MG might be a possibility.

I can attach a picture. And they are only 8 weeks so no eggs yet!

It’s just the occasional sneeze. She won’t eat treats either I tried giving her mealworms yesterday with no luck. I’m going to go to tractor supply and see about NutriDrench her poop looks normal I didn’t see anything abnormal about it that would say coccidiosis.
