LOL.........sadly, that analogy is becoming so common-place even in the smaller cities......and they ain't gotta be "metro" either. Thank God for havin' the privilege of livin' in the rural USA.

JJ I have a question for you, do you know anything about a Winchester model 37 22? I Got it a few years back and I'm pretty sure it said model 37. Can't really see it good. I've been using it to shoot frogs.

KIDDO GO TO WWW.GUNBROKER.COM AND DO A SEARCH FOR WINCHESTER MOD 37 AND SEE IF IT IS IN FACT THAT PARTICULAR MODEL--- OH AND TRY NOT TO DROOL ON THE KEYBOARD... SPIT AND ELECTRONICS RARELY PALY WELL TOGATHER

Well, I put some oil on it and gave it a good rubbin down and then I could make it out better. I should have known, it's a model 67.

Now I need to find some way to fix the front sight. It's chipped off and it looks like I'll have to try and glue a fiberoptic stick on the front. Then it needs a new butt, so I guess I'll just slip a recoil pad over it for now. I promise myself I'm not gonna put more into it than it's worth this time...

Well, if your eyes are getting as bad as mine are now, you will put down the precision .22cal.+riffle, and get yourself at least a 20GA. shotgun.

Having both is good too.

One of my JB hens has something going on at the vent area. She is laying eggs but the skin around her vent is swollen. It's soft not hard as if there's an egg there but it's about that size. She had a bit of blood on her too but I think it came from getting scratched from the roo. I did wash her off so the others don't peck at her.
I'm in the middle of a move or I would have put an apron on her. I'll be able to get one on her tomorrow but I was wondering if I should take her out of the pen. She will still lay eggs no matter if I do or not. But was wondering. It's not prolapsed, nothing sticking out just swollen looking. Not red either. Any ideas. Oh. She's a young hen, only been laying about a month or a little more but not much.
