Ah What Ever Happened To The Good Ole Dayz When You Scalded And Pulled Feather Out By Hand.....
 
What day was that. I skinned until I built this. I was thinking of building a whizzbang plucker until I built this to test the fingers out & it worked so good that I just use it. I don't know if it will work on quail though but one of the guys that bought it from me said it was great on turkey. There is a woman that is going to try it on ducks & tell me how it went.

On Wild Birds I Skin To A Degree--- Waterfowl I Filet The Breast And Leg Quarters Out, Wild Turkey Just The Breast, Doves We Just Tear The Breast Out. About The Only Wild Game I Pluck Is Quail, Pheasant, And Partridge...

I can't understand throughing the drumsticks & thighs out from a turkey. I keep as much meat as I can from my animals. I even cut the meat out of the ribs of a deer if there is any there. Usually don't get but about three strips of meat on each side of the deer around here.

I try not to eat turkey but if I do I stay away from dark meat. My dad likes them though. I have only had wild turkey about 5 times & most of them were smoked.
 
Well I'm As Bad Or Worse Than You With Deer And Most Animals, But Wild Turkey Legs Just Plain Old Suck! They're Strong And Tough. As Far As Doves And Waterfowl--- There Isnt Much Meat Left After The Breasts And Leg Quarters...
