Slow Night Here In Quailville

I am afraid that the guys are not doing their job and that the eggs are not fertile. I had some late pea egg after the male molted that were not. I would try a few ASAP and see. If they are not, them I am not sure you want them dropping them now. It may affect their laying come spring.

I am getting eggs out of 1/2 the quail that molted, going to up the protein to 26% from 20 keep the lights on like motel 6 Hopefully they will start cranking out the eggs,I got lots of buyers & no quail to sell that incubator doesn't need an off switch.

come over here and get some eggs!!! I switched my food to 16% layer crumble a couple weeks ago (save cost while keeping them feed until we process) and even turned the lights off a week ago and i'm still getting 80-100 eggs a day....and the next batch is starting to lay a few!

seriously, if you want quail and/or quail eggs shoot me a pm and we'll set something up if you wanna drive this far.

Thanks for the offer fitzy, with a few adjustments I think I could get 1000 quail eggs in my incubator, however with gas prices ,old tires, loud muffler&bad shocks on my truck,I think I will just push it to the barn & not across Kansas
