Slow Night Here In Quailville

I moved the coturnix chicks into a 24"X30" rabbit cage. The floor was warped up so I put paper towells on it for the feets to walk on without falling through. They were filling the rubber tub so fast that I figured they needed more room, and air..

Yep, however this at present is the most posts I've seen since November, when I signed up! Lots of folks hatching quail, at least I'm not alone here....

I've been busy poking holes in people. I love listening to my quail crowing. They are going to their pen after this cold snap. Got more eggs in the bator.

I will be expecting this weekend, some AM whites, this time. My Jumbo browns are stinky quails. I clean them out every day..bleargh. I hope it warms up some more so I can move them into the shed. I think hubby will protest soon if I don't!!

I had 7 jumbos hatch yesterday, but one is a white one. Don't know where that came from first one ever. have hatched numurous eggs from these three pens of jumbos and never had a white hatch. Weird!!
