slow queit and bumping into things

that for researching! did your hen recover quickly/at all?

She isn't ill but as far as I know she is still blind :/. I just finished my researching. I couldn't find any symptoms for bacterial infections in the eye except one thing. There is one disease, Conjunctivitis, that can cause blindness in the chickens eyes because of high ammonia in the bedding. It says that the eyes get cloudy, not specks though :/

sorry for responding late.. hm... thanks you mean like dirty laying box hay and pen? we keep the pen very clean, i found respiratory problems can cause both eye to get infected and passy because all the ears eyes nose and mouth are all connected to regulate air pressures in ear drums and eye sockets, so they say if it all gets infected and passy the eye can get infected, what would be the best un-harmful eye cleaner for spraying into the eye? saline water? Thanks!

Hmm....I'm not sure on that. I'll look it up and see :)

Mareks disease can cause irregular pupils in the eye. In this picture below the chicken on the left has an irregular pupil. Cataracts can occur in chickens and are cloudy areas over the lens. Here are 2 links to read:

but it doesn't seem like mareks both her pupil's look perfectly round and look just like all the other chicken's.

this morning she's the same, the eye lose itself Doesn't seem life-threatening but starvation is, what is the best what to get a blind chicken to eat? she's not totally blind tho she follows the other chickens, but I'm not sure what it is eye sight lose or dumbness? could it be a tick making her docile/'dumb'?

its virtually impossible to find a tick under the chicken's feathers and she has a lot of feathers, so just incase it is a tick we want to dip her in some solution, dose anyone know of a solution you can make that kills ticks but doesn't harm the chicken? Thanks!
