Slowdown in laying....

I have never switched from layer feed during molt, as some are laying & some are not during that time. They don't molt at the same time. 4-6 weeks of calcium when they are renewing everything doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Never had a problem.

Yeah, maybe not.
I feed a low calcium / higher protein feed full time anyway as I have a multi generational and gendered flock. I give extra animal protein during molt.
