I thought it has been weeks since I last posted Cappy the maybe cockerel, not as long as I thought, but here's fresh photos from today. 14 weeks old tomorrow.I'm still not 100% sure though.

Hmm, I'm leaning pullet now...I thought it has been weeks since I last posted Cappy the maybe cockerel, not as long as I thought, but here's fresh photos from today. 14 weeks old tomorrow.
In the photo with 2 silkies Cappy is on the left. Still no wattles and just a thickened comb no significant growth.
I might rename it Mystery then when we finally know for sure it can be Miss Turey or Mr E. LolHmm, I'm leaning pullet now...
I'm thinking cockerel now. I moved the two other cockerels out of the coop this morning because they are starting to grab the oullets by the neck and just hold them as they try to get away. This evening I saw Cappy grab a pullet and peck at a few on the back of the neck as they went by. It's not as aggressive as the other 2 had been, but I'm thinking Cappy is a Mr E. He's just pet quality, bad toes, not much of a poof.Hmm, I'm leaning pullet now...

The boys might be going to a poultry sale this Saturday. I don't have room for 4 roosters
I'm thinking cockerels maybe...@Tookie the story may be continuing So, I took a closer look at the two boys and Cappy, now I'm on the fence again I haven't seen Cappy grabbing at the girls since that first morning I moved the boys out. I saw the boys have definite saddle feathers, I didn't get a photo but I will try to remember tomorrow. Cappy doesn't. They are 15 1/2 weeks old now.
This is what makes it fun. I'm glad I'm not in a hurry to have to know one way or the other if it is a cockerel and it never crows, maybe I could start a new line of "city" chickens for those who want a rooster but aren't supposed to have them. I could call them Silent Silkies or City Non-Cluckers.I'm thinking cockerels maybe...
This is so hard.
