I'm thinking it's a SLW, it's just a hatchery quality chick. The combs and colors aren't always 100% what they are supposed to be, but they're still wonderful birds.

Thank you!! I've never had this breed before so I'm new here so I'm truly thankful for your guys help!It’s not uncommon to have a straight comb Wyandotte. I’ve purchased from hatcherie and breeders and usually get some straight combs. Some get culled depending on breeder. No matter where you purchase your dotties from there’s a chance unless they specifically breed birds homozygous for rose comb which is pretty hard from my understanding due to low fertility rates.

Yes, I love mine so far! They are very curious and love to be held!!You are very welcome. These are actually my favourite breed of birds. Very hardy and easy to keep happy in my opinion. Mine lay every day and they have such beautiful colours and patterns!
