SLW?

This is one of my other wyandottes comb View attachment 1769010
It's more than simply hatchery quality... That is an SLW, but...

Unfortunately, many breeders KNOW that breeding all rose comb for several generations can cause slow sperm motility... hence essentially breeding OUT fertility from your stock... So many HATCHERY breeders keep straight combs in their flock to help combat it.

I think the straight comb Wyandottes... though maybe not good for show... are kinda prettier. :love

Thank you guys so much!! She came from tsc so that's probably why?

It’s not uncommon to have a straight comb Wyandotte. I’ve purchased from hatcherie and breeders and usually get some straight combs. Some get culled depending on breeder. No matter where you purchase your dotties from there’s a chance unless they specifically breed birds homozygous for rose comb which is pretty hard from my understanding due to low fertility rates.
