I just candled my duck eggs (this is day 5) and the air cells seem VERY small about the size of a nickel on most, some smaller. My humidity has been kept around 50%. This is my first time incubating duck eggs, I have incubated lots of chicken eggs and those air cells were much larger. Is this normal or should I decrease my humidity?

At 5 days it is probably fine. The most important thing about hatching is not to obsess about the details. Ask me how I know.

You could reduce the humidity a bit to lose more water or you could scrub the bloom off the eggs.

Or, you could do nothing and they'll probably hatch and be fine.
