Hi everyone!
By way of introduction- I am a long time lurker but first time poster! My girls are nearly 2 years old and they are my babies, I hatched them from an incubator by myself. I am a complete and total helicopter mummy and am devoted to my 3 beautiful girls.
The issue at hand: When hanging with my girls today, I noted this poop (attached). It looks to have a small bit of dark red in it, perhaps blood? I noticed the same looking poop last Saturday, and again panicked that it was coccidiosis, so called my emergency vet but with a £50 call back fee I had to take measures into my own hands, as I’m only 24 years old and live by myself !
So I deep cleaned out their entire run and monitored their behaviour, they looked and acted completely normal and I hadn’t seen any more blood in their poop since.
However today I find this… should I be concerned? I will have no hesitation in taking the sample to the vet to be tested if it’s something to be concerned about however, as mentioned, I am broke so it would be great if that was avoidable!
As I said, their behaviour seems normal, but my helicopter mummy syndrome has inflated this situation to cause a great deal of worry, and I would be SO grateful for peoples opinions on whether I should truly be worried.
Thank you so much
