small and slightly dumb question ...

OK, because I only have 4 chickens, I don't see the need to have 2 waterer's. So I will put the feeder in the coop, the waterer in the run. Thank you all for the help.
 
We have the feed and the water hanging in the coop.... we also have 2-3 waterers in the run becuase they will drink more than they eat and I can't have any animal without water. I think it's best (PERSONAL OPINION) to have the food in the coop and obviously extra water becuase the wild animals will be less able to smell the food etc and if I can lessen the chance of an attack I will do that. Plus when we had our ice storm and snow (nothing like on the coast of course

) and the birds were in to coop becusue of the incliment weather. especially with the wind chill down in the -30's. Keeping the food in the coop has proven to be the best for us. during the day they go in and out a little bit. usually when they're going in or out from laying and grab a bite and leave. lol.

it's all about preference, keep both in mind, keep room in the coop just in case.
