Here are some updated pics of my guys from today. Do you guys think the earlier id's stick? They are around 12 weeks old. The roosters are getting really pretty! I am going to keep one (maybe two if they keep getting along) but I am not sure what to do about the rest. They are all very small chickens, probably don't weigh a pound. The gold one towers over them. Still not sure if it is a hen or a roo.

Anyway, as far as the blacks go you can see a big difference between the males and females now!

Well, I'm not sure what kind they are, but i have some that look just like the black ones!! Mine are all bantam mixes, but I have 3 that look like that also that I bought with a game hen. I don't think they're game though. She had 6 total, and would only take the 3 that were definitely hers. Plus the little black ones are all feathered out, the same size as the game chicks, and the games are all ugly and fuzzy! Hope someone can help you out!! Almost all of my babies look like the black ones when they hatch, and the only constant is that they all have the same daddy... a blue splash Dutch bantam.

I should add that Pat is out of a different hatch from a different location but within days of the others. Pat is twice or more the size of the black ones. I never thought of Pat being a game cross since his hen was a giant puffy gold hen that looked like a buff orpington. There were many roosters with those hens.

No-one sees game in the black? I was told that they were game crosses and from what I can tell games are small like these black ones? I am trying to figure out what the other part was. I saw a beautiful large white green black rooster running around with the hens that these black ones came from.
