small breed advice

I'm looking for breed recommendations:
I need the smallest chicken breed possible, roughly pigeon sized that are also person and friendly. Suggestions from those with experience with recommended breeds would be much appreciated.

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. Seramas are the smallest breed, & the one I have is a very friendly girl & is probably smaller than some pigeons. But Silkies are an even better choice for friendly breeds There are just so many different wonderful breeds of bantams
