Small Buff Orpington Chicks

So, I ordered from 4 different breeds from ideal poultry, and my b.o.s are supposed to end up as the biggest of them. However, my b.o.'s are the smallest of all the chicks!?

Anybody else have buff orps from ideal poultry or tiny chooks?

Hmm... that is interesting. Are you positive that they are all the same age? What where the other breeds you ordered? Could you have possibly ordered Buff Orpington Bantams?

I know at least two are a few days older than the rest, but the others seemed all the same stage in development.

Ideal has a separate section for bantams that I forsure didn't enter. Hmmm...I suppose age would be the most prevalent factor though
