Small Cabinet Incubator

I got the Reptipro from the guy who sells them on ebay. He let me buy it at the lower ebay price, but not have to wait for the auction to be over. The ones he listed on Buy It Now were a little more, but he gave me the lower price and the free shipping!

...and I do love ALL the different opinions and experiences from youz guys!

Congrats! I hope you enjoy it and get great hatches from it.

I need an opinion now, if someone doesn't mind. The one in the link. Is it any good? How many eggs would it hold? Is it worth the price?

Sorry to hyjack.

It holds at least 50 eggs (without turners). The turners have to be bought through the same company. I really do believe it's worth the price!
msheets loves hers...so there is a 1st hand account.

I say DO IT!!!

I'm sorry to be a downer, but I ordered the "Exo Terra" brand of this type of incubator (which is I believe from the same parent company as the reptipro) last April and all it gave me was heartbreak. My personal experience was that the temp was never the same from the top shelf to the bottom, and it died without warning after 20-some days. I contacted Hagen, Inc., the manufacturer, and they sent me another one to replace it. Had it for 35 or so days with the same problems, and it too died without warning. All in all, I lost over 50.00 worth of eggs because of these incubators. Also, do NOT trust the digital temp. readout: mine was showing about 8 degrees higher than the actual temp. in the machine.

Hope your experience is much better than mine. I will keep my so-called lousy LG's and take my chances.

I came back in to find out about the turners, because I can't find them on the site. Anyone know where to find them?

BigDaddy'sGurl do you think it could have been that both were defective? Did you get a third one or at least get your money back? OH and I'm one of those people who happens to like my LG. I get better hatches with mine than I do from my Sportsman.
