If you must know a grouping of 10 shots are all in a quarter size group, providing the wind is less than 15 MPH. The gun I am presently using is a Barrett model 82A1 50 cal. with a 29" barrell with 1 twist rifling in 12". The optics are Barrett optical ranging system (BORS). Once the range is estimated the com[iter is put in action, this syster compensates for barmetic pressure, temperture, if aiming up or downward and if the rifle is canted. At 1500 yards I can make a chest shot 8 of 10 tens. But I am just an old man that has worked for large arms companies over the years to demo the wares for different SWAT teams wanting to purchase top quality weapons. The weapons I use are not your run of the mill gun you can buy at Big 5 or your local sporting good store. When you pull the trigger on any living thing, you want a clean, fast kill. If you can't do that NEVER pull the trigger. I will now put this to rest for it is about chickens here and not the weapon you shoot, for some are hunting and great shots, others should NEVER own a gun.
