small chicken oreder?

I ordered my last chicks from mypetchicken. I ordered 10 and received 12. They sent me 1 extra delaware & 1 extra maran. I didn't lose one chick even though the heating pad wasn't warm. They were on their 3 day when they showed up at post office. I did feed the chicks gro-gel plus which I never did before with other orders from MM and I always lost several chicks. So from now on I will always buy the gro-gel I had to order it from someone else. Mypetchicken doesn't sell it or I couldn't find it on their website if they did.

I just got my 8 Buff Brama Bantams (plus 1 extra) from My Pet Chicken!!! Awesome chicks...all chirping & healthy! The service was awesome...didn't need the heat pack. Would definately order from them again.....A++++

My new babies, all 13, were from Ideal. We live in Texas so I thought less travel would be best on them. They are 1 week old today and I didn't lose a one. I ordered 12 and they sent one extra barred rock. They sent them out Tuesday and I got them on Wednesday. All were in really good condition and started eating and drinking almost instantly. I will definently order from them next year!

Placed my order today with My Pet Chicken. You're right, Traci was very helpful. I only needed 3 chicks but live in a rural area far from a main hub post office. Because of the possible added stress with the longer travel to our rural location, she ASKED if it was ok for her to include another chick free of charge. Then she allowed me to choose which breed I wanted for the extra, including a completely different breed than those I'd already ordered if I wanted. She was also patient and helpful while I decided when I'd like my chicks shipped (with the upcoming 4th of July holiday causing them to ship later in the week, I didn't want the chicks caught in the mess on that Friday or Saturday).

So far, customer service is fantastic. Chicks won't ship until later this month, but I'll post when they arrive. Very impressed so far!

I'm looking at their website now, and looked at it last night too, no problems, but i havent ordered anything from them.

Good to hear! She's very patient. I gave that poor woman one heck of a time trying to get my chicks here at the perfect time because I had a week off work that was going to be perfect for their arrival. She was very patient with me, lol!

Like someone else said, the $25 heating pack is a little much, but it's worth it in order to get what you want without having to deal with rehoming 20+ chicks.

Thank you barg! DH originally thought it was the site's problem, since I haven't had any trouble accessing any other sites. I guess it's just me! I cleared my cache and that didn't help. I was using Microsoft Explorer, but Mozilla Firefox can't access that site for me, either. DH is going to upgrade Microsoft.net later on my machine and see if that does it. Hey, at least I can still get here!

WoodlandWoman,
I was just on MPC's website the other night, and it came up just fine (all 9,000 times I've been on it recently...lol). In the end, though, I still decided to call and place my order over the phone so that I could ask questions about the delivery date and arrange for some different times.

In case you don't have it (because you can't access the site), MPC's phone number is 888-460-1529.

Good luck!
