Small eggs

My RIR's have been laying for a couple of months now. I get 7 eggs from 7 hens almost evey day. Once I got 8.
Every now and then I get a monster size egg and some of them are what I consider large, but for the most part the eggs are small and medium.
Is this what I can expect or will they get bigger? I am pretty sure all there needs are met and exceeded so I can rule out poor nutrition or short days.

I'm in about the same situation as you with mine, probably a month ahead of you. The eggs will gradually get bigger, but the biggest jump in size will be after their next molt. That may not be until next fall. The giant sized eggs are probably double yolked eggs. The larger eggs are probably from the ones that started laying first.

I always say "who layed to big egg" and then I look to see if anyone is walking funny.
