***please help as I am new at this..***

So it's about time for my chicks to hatch and two of them have small piping's but have not moved at all yet and its been a while.. I don't know if I should assist or let it be? If I should assist how should I? I have two of them that look like this. Should I assist these two that have not yet hatched? These will not be the first ones born. Here is a pick of one egg. The other egg its hard to see the piping but has a crack from a tiny whole that is slowly growing. But my other chic that is hatching never had a crack like this.

If you need a better pick let me know.

Hello, and welcome to BYC!  Like chicapee said, best thing is to just wait.

What day are they on and how long has it been since you saw the first pip?

Sense I got them from the roost they are on their 16 day but I had one born on the 10th day and I have another egg that is hatching an I know for a fact the hens were sitting on them but not sure how long. My guess the hen was sitting on them for a week or so.. The egg that I first saw with the tiny piping was 24 hours ago but this egg was hiding in the incubator and the other eggs piping just happened this morning.

Chicken eggs take 21 days incubation until they hatch.

Incubation time is also under then hen I believe. Correct?? I gathered all my eggs at the same time and I have dates marked in my calendar, from when I got them from the hen and until the 21 day mark.

Yes it is. Are you having the hen sit on them or are you using an incubator.

I grabbed them from underneath the hen after what I think was a week and put them in an incubator.

Well it's definitely harder when you don't know when they started the incubation process! Some are obviously younger than others, so I'd just wait and see what happens.

Unfortunately, not every chick makes it. How many eggs do you have left to hatch?

When did you start lockdown? You may have a long hatch. Can you hear any peeping from the 2 that are pipped? What is your temperature and humidity?
