I opened my bag of cracked corn today and noticed corn clumping together. When I moved the bag I saw a lot of small worms. I'm pretty sure it is not magets. Are they meal worms? Can i still use this feed? Should I throw it away? Thanks for any input.

I wouldnt worry about the worms as much as the clumping.

It sounds like the feed got wet, and if it molds it could cause a problem.

Worms are just extra protien

the clumps are probably the worm cocoons. They will morph into some sort of moth, probably. I feed my bird feed with moths. The chickens will eat the worms, cocoons and the moths.

I agree with the other posts. I wouldn't worry about it. They probably eat a lot of thing you don't know about when they are free ranging. If you just bought the bag recently then I would return it to that store, otherwise give some to them and see if they eat it.
