The vet said the yellow dots were tapeworm segments, as mentioned by dawg53 earlier in the thread. The vet prescribed a single dose of Ivermectin for my shy hen, and my tame pet hen got large doses of Panacur for five days. That fixed the issue, we never saw these yellow dots again, both hens are happy and healthy now. I did not have to give the Panacur by syringe into her beak, I soaked oats in the stuff, mixed it with yoghurt and she ate it as if it were a treat!
