Small yellow worms/maggots in stool?? *PIC* HELP!

The tapeworm dose is 10-20 mg praziquantel per kilogram, so an average 5 pound hen would need ~23 mg. Those pils contain only 4 mg praziquantel, so a five pound hen would get 6 pills (24 mg), then you repeat that in 10-14 days.

Yes that’s the one. I am not sure how heavy my hens are. Obviously my Isa Brown is heavier than the silkies...
I think I gave her 3 pills last time that might not have been enough then?

Your ISA browns probable weighs 5-6 pounds. Dose is 4.54 mg per pound according to my vet books.

This is getting worse by the day!!
Should I treat them all again or just the affected ones?
Also how important is the “24h without food”? They free range so they’re almost always full. I would either treat them tonight or in the morning

I think some of your problem may be re-infestation since there are so many tapeworm segments being released into your flock's environment via poop like that. This is probably going to be an on going issue for you. I know some BYC members like @dawg53 need to deworm at least 4 times a year to keep on top of the problem. Climate can play a big part in the problem, so it may be a good idea to take advice from someone with similar conditions. Including your location on your profile page is helpful in situations like this.
