p.s. there is nowhere you can hide

Just my standard warning. Make sure you can legally kill a gray fox right now. They are restricted in some areas.

yes i believe i've heard you say that. quite recently in fact. you have over 900 posts in a month. there is a lot of repetitiveness.

Little devil all puffed up and looking right at the camera. I hope he goes in the trap you have set behind him.

Has he done anything to your flock? Tried to dig into the coop? Is the coop secure at night? If it is roaming around, then during the day your flock is secure, why take it out if it hasn't done anything? I guess I can't see taking out all the wildlife around you when your in their territory and encroaching on them, when you see it you shoot it.

If you do trap it, take it FAR FAR away and let it go.

Wow. It's amazing what goes on outside our coops at night without our ever realizing it!

I didn't say it was honorable...just why is everyone so quick to shoot and some with glee? I was raised to respect all animals, domestic and/or wild, and to NEVER take a life unless there is a reason for it.

Why wait until the deed is done? I would at least traumatize the thing. If you can't kill it...I would trap it, leave it in the trap as my dogs bark and want to kill it and then let it go as they chase after it. Perhaps soak it with some ice cold water...I mean I have dogs for more then just lawn ornaments.
