changed mine and it does the same as yours.
I once used a gif from a candling video i had taken. I'll try it.

edit -still didn't work. Maybe theirs works because they had them before new platform?

I think it is because the size limit will not let all of the gif image or layers upload. An animated gif is multiple gif images arranged to make it look like a movie. perchie girl had to remove images and make the file smaller to get it to work.

One way around this would be to ask nifty or Matt to make changes to allow animated avatars

I saved Chaos18's to my drive, then uploaded it and it still didn't work. I think maybe animated gif's were grandfathered in.

Mine was a Video clip... that ran five megabytes....

I ran it through a GIF editor....
I removed frames washed out the color and reduced it to the X by X pixel limitation AND got the file below 50k.... and it worked.

May not work now though if they have put further limitations on it.

I forgot, I also saved your gif to my drive, then uploaded it and it didn't work either.
