I'd rather shoot them than using a three prong pitchfork I had to use one time on a momma possum. She was NASTY and hissed at me everytime I tried to stab her with it. So in order to get her out of the barn, I told my Dad to get his .22 rifle....not long he shot them, he picked up the possum, all of her babies fell out. He replied, one less family to deal with! The chickens were so nervous for the entire night.

Butt ugly creatures! Nasty temperment when cornered.
