Good job, I just did the same thing with a possom that killed one of my silkie roos.

I too have a hot wire around my coop. They will get a nice surprise if they start snooping around my place.

But I really don't dislike them. I held one once that had been hit by a car, a little baby. He immediately wrapped his tail around my finger and hung upside down. I thought he was kinda cute.

However, they do have a temper, and they wouldn't be so cute (not at all cute) in my chicken coop. I wouldn't heistate to dispatch them in any manner that I could. I just hope I never have to. I am hoping the hot wire does the trick.
