Ok I recently bought the Smithsonian triops so I put the eggs in and 3 days later babies!
but the next day (today) I looked closely and realized they looked just like brine shrimp/sea monkeys and triops and sea monkeys/brine shrimp don't look anything alike so has this happened to you before?

I actually had the triops once; I have no idea if they looked anything like brine shrimp. All I know is that they all died five days after hatching.

One time I grew triops and they got really big (about an inch long). It was a really cool pet. The last time I tried I am pretty sure I got brine shrimp...

I've heard that they are brine shrimp. I know they used to sell "sea monkeys" when I was a kid. I always thought they were something different? [IMG]

No brine shrimp are the same things as sea monkeys [IMG] triops are totally different though [IMG]
