Smokey color gene in chickens?

I'm not sure if my little hen is smokey. But its ancestors do have the blood of white leghorn.
 
Interesting color. Can there be a pattern or is it always solid?
It's like the other dominant what i allelic mutations, the dilution is only on the black feathers so it's a solid color if the bird is a solid black, but if there is a black lacing on a gold or silver background then the black laced areas will be diluted.
 
Would you call this girl Smokey, she is out of a white oegb and a gold Sebright. I have hatched about 6 like her this spring.
