Super exited, and nervous!

If anyone is interested in Faverolles or D'uccles, send me a PM. I have over 30 available right now, various ages.

Hope everyone is having a good summer!

I just got more rabbits given to me, but have no buck.. so curious if anyone has a rex newzealand, or dutch, etc buck, maybe needing good home. I'm building a pen n hutches, but for now all but four new does free range n just hang around being fed by everyone, n protected by dogs. i didnt before know rabbits sadistically led weasel cats skunks n especially fox, around to tire, then lead them to dogs when dogs penned.
I thought one was a buck, but turns out, out of eight I'm penning up, none boys somehow. lol
also anyone keep giant homers n or Chinese geese (setting eggs)? pm please if do.
otherwise I've happily got dozen bantam Americana fuzzy butts running round mommies, a happy beautiful OEGB pair (cockerel raven black with red n white etc leakage, pullet is millie feur, both from different states and female expensive show line, male game line), n white dove release racing homers breeding decent.

Hey all! It's been a loooooong time since I have been on BYC. Hubby and I used to live in Oliver Springs, and sold out of rabbits and chickens at the fair back in 2013. Today, we started building our first chicken coop. I'm not a complete newbie, seeing as I used to have 4-5 breeds and 100 chickens!!

Hope to get to know some of the members! Still trying to figure out which breeds to get!

Meant to add that we moved from Oliver Springs to Knoxville at the beginning of 2014.
:)

Coop is still somewhat a work in progress, but it's keeping the chickens safe. We bought a trio of heritage Rhode Island Reds. No eggs as of yet, but they're still getting accustomed to the new home. Hoping to get done eggs in the incubator (yes, late in the season).

Sorry I just saw this. .. shoulder surgery prevented me from typing the last 6 weeks. Yes I breed both Rex and American Chins.

Great! What line are your reds? Who did you get them from?

I'm not really sure, the breeder is from Georgia but bought from an older couple out in the sticks of TN that had them on Craigslist. She gave me a name but I didn't remember. I may call her back and ask so then I have more information on them. Wish they would lay some eggs!

Looking for information on greeneville restrictions on backyard chickens want to relocate and bringing my flock is a must.. I have 18 RIR crosses and 6 EE all hens.. My home is dependent on My Girls being able to come with me.. Any local information on the greenville area would be appreciated. I havent found anything online and My next step is to call the local town hall.
