Hi all!
Shadow here is almost 6 months old (hatched 4/23), and is from a light Brahma hen and silkie roo. His (her??) two brothers look like their mama and have been crowing for weeks. Shadow looks male to me (look at at that saddle!) but doesn’t display any gender behaviors (no crow, dance, clucking, submissive squat, eggs, etc). The husband said he saw a roo dancing for him/her, but that doesn’t mean too much since I have a silkie roo who mostly only dances for our Tom turkeys 🤷‍♀️ Help us settle the debate once and for all?? Thank you!!

Definitely a cockerel!

Thank you all! I think the husband finally accepts the truth now, lol! No matter, he still thinks that Shadow is the most beautiful (haha, handsome now) bird we have! I know leakage is a flaw, but I personally love his frosted tips :love
