Snack ideas

What Snacks do you think geese would like best. I'd prefer a friendly goose that will let me get close. I heard this can be accomplished by imprinting and snacks. So what does your geese like best. Thanks so much

Mine go crazy for just about any veggie scrap I offer them... especially celery (I chop it so the strings aren't too long.) They also love apples and grapes, and they turn their noses up to tomatoes. But honestly, their FAVORITE treat is dandelion greens.

Oh good that doesn't sound expensive and another question are yours more friendly with snacks?

I used the snacks at first to bribe them to get closer to me. Now that they are used to me being close, I can pet them and even stroke their bills without them even slightly flinching. I still give snacks, but just because they like it, not to bribe them!

My goose is always sweet, and my gander is sweet also, but he does test the waters sometimes. Be aware and keep yourself top "goose"!
