I put paver stones in the chicken run & they serve two purposes... 1) Nice place to stand where there is a little bit of a muddy spot in front of coop door but more importantly 2) SNACKS!
I catch my hubby in there every day lifting up the pavers so the chickens can get all the yummy creepy crawlers under there! They LOVE it! As soon as he kneels down they come running over for snack time...
