I meant I gave my pigeon shelledI must say, while I do this and it is the best way to get my birds tame and eating from my hand, they still put up their dukes when I try to grab them lol
thank youIt takes them some time to discover how amazing and delicious they are. For my birds, sometimes it varies. I have one adult racer that I received at age 2, and she barely takes interest to them. Every once in a while I wouldn't be surprised if a pigeon here and there does not like them, but I think that is very much the exception not the rule.
Place a small pile of them near where the pigeon roosts or perches and it will discover them. Consider breaking them into smaller pieces.
