I would drag his butt in. If his skin is turning black, that is VERY BAD. If he is still refusing...call 911. He NEEDS to get looked at.

We came across a bull snake that "rattled" it's tail this week and imitated a rattler. It was also a nasty customer. But, it's tail did not contain this rattle ringlets as seen on your snake.
Don't give DH a choice. Go go go to the ER.

Wow. Ask him where the life insurance policy is kept and if the payments are up to date. Maybe that will encourage him to seek medical attention.
Of course, I'd take it as a good sign that it has not killed him yet.

How is his hand looking? It would be a real shame to lose it, if it could be treated....

He is not sick, does not have a headache. He says his arm is sore, I can see it moving up his arm to his arm pit.
This happened about 9 pm last night.

Yea 911 in rural Oklahoma is something.

yea tell him to go in.... the most damage is done later... he hasnt seen the worst of it yet,
the poison basically eats away body tissue, nerves, everything. He may lose his finger or even his hand... tell him to go in... he'll be sorry if he doesnt. If its' turning black that is already dead.. the infection from it is what will either cause loss of finger or limb or even his life... do not mess with this.. go in!

Yeah, my DH said it was my pea soup...I took his butt to the fire station - they have ekgs & first responder stuff...it WAS a heart attack, 3 stents later & he is doing fine...

DH's are stubborn. I have no idea how far it is to your nearest fire station
