Back in October of 08 our roof fell in. It isn't your normal roof, there's only like a 20 degree angle to it so it's almost a flat roof. It's very hard to keep clean from all the leaves that get up there and sit on the roof, we are consistently up on the roof blowing it all away. That side of the house sits next to line of trees. Anyway in November my DH took a loan from his 401k and we preceded to fix the roof. We had to take out alot of rafters and replaced them and found alot more damage than first inticipated. We quickly ran out of money and then DH got laid off in December. So we did the best we could with what we had. We are far far from done with it but eventually we will get it done. Anywaz...DH was sitting at his computer and says "honey I think we have a snake in the house". They don't bother me but they do bother him, lol. So I walk out and there he is coming down the wall. I run for the camera. I've been in bed all day with a horrible horrible PMS migraine so this really isn't the excitement I need today. Now he's walking around looking for this snake. He was down the wall about 3' when I first saw him. He's a pretty good size black snake. He didn't go out so he must be in the wall. The walls are 8' concrete with a 4"gap and then the inside wall.

Don't know much about snake traps, but based on comparing the pics to a google image search for black snakes, it appears to be a hognose which feed on rodents and lizards. I would recommend looking up black snakes in your state and figuring out what it is before anything else, especially if it could be poisonous.

I don't do snakes! I has one on the back of my washer once. Thought it was a strange place for hubby to put his black belt. I grabbed the baby ran out in my nightgown drove to my husbands job site and told him I was going to my mothers! That was 18 years ago. Good thing he killed the snake.
