Not giving anyone a hard time about killing any snake, just info that most do lots of good. Moving them is a good thing if they are eating your eggs.

Snake hater started with Adam!!! Great you let one go.

Know lots of people have fear of snakes, but most dont understand all the facts about how much good they do.

I know very well about the balance of nature and every animal has it's place, when I find these snakes they are up to no good, I don't care what anybody say's. I don't like them, I don't need them around my place or kids, and I will send every one I see to all of the Kooky snake loven wierdo's.

Yes they are up to GOOD they go there to get the mice and rats, that are there to eat the bird feed.

I love animals, but to me the only good snake is a dead one.

If I don't want mice i get a cat, no need to be keeping no 6 ft snakes around here.

Sadly, I live in a hugely snake populated area. If I see one, I scream and run to the house like a little girl.

Much to my disgust, my family only kills the rattlers and copperheads. Wah! They let the other four huge black snakes go in the past two weeks. Thats probably because the 'man' in the house is more scared of them than I am.

To all those going 'poor snakes let them go'

Appartently you haven't been up close and personal to an angry copperhead.

Last year I was out riding bareback on my horse, and I got chased by a BABY copperhead. YES, chashed! Stupid animal. If it had bitten my horse it could of caused serious damage. And my Toby was so calm, we nearly walked over it before I seen it. That one got 'shoveled'.

Ugh. It makes me shudder just to think of it. We have lots of woods and 3ft high grass pastures. And I see on average at least a snake or two a week. Last year two even slide across a family members foot! They are disgusting creatures. And I wish they would just move along to you snake lovers houses. lol

We have all kinds her. Copperheads, Cottonmouths, Garter, Black, Rattle.

Ugh. I've already seen them in my chicken coop this year. I can just imagine reaching in a dark nest box and end up putting my hands on a huge black snake.

(Actually, I nearly did that last year. But lucky I spotted it before reaching in. We shot at it several times, but it escaped. Darn. It had a belly full of eggs too.)

Nice gun by the way.

Thanks! It is my favorite.

It may be too late to mention this now, but one of my main reasons for posting this thread was for snake id and to let people to be aware the snake season is here for most of us.
