Snake with no eyes!

It's great that you are giving her a second chance. Many people seem to think that "imperfection" is a handicap. I have a cat that was born without eyes. Mister Magoo has never been able to see, so the lack of sight is totally normal for him.

I was seriously taken aback when one of my friends said she would have had him put down. Until I point it out, it's not unusual for people NOT to realize he can't see. He navigates his world by sound, smell and memory, and it's a happy "Goo" world.

It's unlikely he would have survived long in the backyard where he was born, but coyotes there stalked sighted cats, too. With a little human intervention, he's already had 10 birthdays.

Best wishes for your new, lovely snake; may she have plenty of days ahead of her!

Well, she's a bit confused but she's got the spirit!
