Ohh that ain't good. Copperheads get the birdshot. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Framing houses on Hilton Head back in the 80s on a cool morning moving lumber I came across a 2' Copper Head coiled underneath a 2x12, 2' framing square took the head off clean. YES!

Here in the yard I have come across Ribbon, we call Garter, Eastern Hog Nose, we call 'em Puff Adders, Black Racers, Eastern Kings, Pine, and of course the Timber Rattler. No cause to kill any of them as they're just passing thru. Rattlers seem to show up in late August on a migration as they all are moving from N-NE to S-SW.
