Hi all, so I came across Angelinas nest. There were 17 eggs in it. But I know she has abandoned it and is laying off behind my pond every day. Her dumbo hubby loudly announces where they go every day. Anyway, czz a n I do the same float test for freshness? They are so hard I’m wondering if it would work. Anybody have a way to test for guinea egg freshness?

That is the only time a float test has any value is when checking for freshness. If they sink, they are fresh and how high they float gives an approximate age difference.

Be careful and crack them into a separate bowl before using. At least one person had a rotten egg pass the float test.

Are you trying to incubate or eat them?
