but I will do what I have to do. My other 12 chickens look great. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Is the discharge clear or snotty? Sneezing can be from ammonia build up at floor level or some other irritation, so no culling yet! Once I had a bunch of birds in two coops, both with lots of new plywood and caulk, sneezing alot. I finally figured out that they were reacting to all the glues and resins in those materials and we increased ventilation. Clear can be stuff coming out of their nose after drinking water, too.

I use the deep litter method and i mix the the litter everyday with my rake. No ammonia I keep it very clean. In fact it was just cleaned 3 weeks ago I use pine shavings. I used red earth from meyers (DE) prior to this and it was 50 times dustier before now. I even use my leaf blower and big 42 inch exahaust fan to get all the dust out every week. She is the only one of 13 does not look sick but I am going to start antibiotics in water today.

Thanks

Do the usual recommended procedures: Separate her from the rest of the flock to observe her. Do NOT give antibiotics. Give her fresh water with the addition of a couple tablespoons unfiltered (with the "mother") ACV per gallon, give her probiotics and good protein, like plain yogurt with scrambled eggs, fish, etc. And watch her. If it clears up, it may have been a reaction to something environmental, but I've never seen a snotty nose here, so I'd be leary of putting her back with the flock. Also, watch the flock for the same symptoms.
