Well I don't know, but lets hope it's something simple. so you don't have to put her through more or spend money you don't have. You mean she got into the spoiled cat food?
No, she just got exposed to it. To make a long story short my husband was at work and I had to drive my cat to the vet for an emergency tail suture, and so she came with me and got exposed to the spores and probably breathed them in. She was in the passenger seat, where the bag was, so she was only about 2-3 feet away from the spore-bomb I found under the bag when I went to clean it out after the fact.
