i just moved my meat chicks to the pole barn and laid down a bunch of new bedding. I noticed this morning that multiple birds were sneezing like crazy. Is this something to worry about or just the bedding? Thanks for the advice!

Hello dear ,

Monitor closely ,
Is there only dry sneeze or wet

What kind of bedding u using ?
Sometimes chicks who are very young sneeze cause of dirt or feed

I will add some garlic water
Or apple cider vinegar in water

Or if they sneezing wet and also their poop is extra white I'll start treating with "Neodix Forte" early chick mortality formula

As u raising meat birds I can't suggest baytril adminstration .

Neodox forte is one of the best for baby chocks

All the best :hugs

Thanks for the info! We are noticing mostly dry sneezing. We had sneezing turkeys a bit ago and it seemed to help when I added acv to their water. Do you recommend pine shavings or straw?

For new batch pine shavings only as they sensitive to the any strains of dirt in the air

My Cornish will sneeze when I put down new straw or when they eat. They also make a lot of goose-like squawking noises when they eat.
