Sneezing

Hi everyone- my first time on BYC!

Does anyone know why chickens sneeze? Ive noticed a couple of mine are

Sneezing is not a good thing. Separate the birds that are sneezing to see if it is a isolated instance or a bird virus. Post this question on the emergency page. I had some sneezing and before long all of the chickens were sneezing. I treated mine with antibiotic which went into the water and I went with two rounds of treatment before the sneezing stopped. It could be a small issue but it is important to practice good biomanagement. Don't bring in new birds with out isolation. Make sure your shoes are clean - I have a pair I only wear into the coop and run. Think of your chickens like a new kid in the kindergarten germ pool. The more things to keep them well the better.

Hope it was an isolated incident.
